Warm Bodies is the perfect date movie. It has the romantic chick flick stuff for the lady and t, as well as starring John Malkovich. I went into the theater not knowing what to expect from the film. About 15 minutes into the movie I knew I would like it. By the end I still did.

Warm Bodies takes place after the zombie apocalypse. Zombies roam the land and the last human settlement walled themselves off in a city center to keep safe. Humans only leave the settlement to find medicine and other supplies. The movie follows one zombie who lives at the airport and enjoys eating brains. That is until one day when he is out with a herd looking for flesh and brains he comes across Julie. And that is when things change for him.

The movie creates its own zombie rules, and some that I have never seen before. Some of them are crazy, but the filmmakers, and the author who wrote the book, changed things up just enough to make it ridiculous enough to be brilliant; like they have friends and can have thoughts and feelings. The traditional form of zombies are in the movie and they are called Bonies.

It is definitely a fun movie and worth going to see.
